There are different forms of comedy among them silent comedy is one which was hugely practised in the silent film era.Silent comedy is the dramatic work introduced to create fun among the audience by using facial expression and body movement replacing the words and sounds. Around 1900s where sound tracks on films were not available, silent comedy worked as the humour creator. After that the effect of silent comedy was replaced by the video comedy While talking about Nepali video comedy sector there has been a lot of new creations and involvements of new generation which indicates a rapid growth in Nepali comedy. At the early days, even when Nepal Television was not established respectful comedians like Dhurba Hada, late Rajpal Thapa used to entertain people by performing stage shows.
